This 54,000 SF design/build project includes one main gym and an auxiliary gym for a total of three full courts. The gym will be home to basketball, volleyball, pickleball, table tennis, and indoor soccer.

Using Trident Construction SMART CHOICES, a tilt wall system for the construction of the gymnasium was introduced to the design professionals and the City of North Charleston. As a result, Trident Construction was able to offer the City of North Charleston significant project cost savings and schedule efficiencies.

This $36 million complex for the City of North Charleston consists of 15 separate structures including an administration building, truck and car maintenance facilities, car wash, truck wash, gas station, green house, and various other support, storage, and warehouse buildings. The 52 acre urban redevelopment project is a former Air Force Base housing area.

In order to meet the needs of its growing membership, Trident Construction collaborated with the the Country Club of Charleston to replace and update their pool, fitness center and golf pro shop. The three new buildings provide 19,000 SF of various amenities and support space, including:

  • Fitness classrooms, equipment, consultation, and treatment spaces with dedicated locker rooms
  • Commercial kitchen and dining venues
  • Exterior Bar and wood deck
  • New pro shop and golf operations space
  • Two additional structures for bathing and pool equipment
  • New 8 lane lap pool with an extension for families

Using our TEAM BUILD process, Trident Construction worked closely with the architect and the club to develop plans and a budget for the complete renovation and expansion of this clubhouse, golf shop, and tennis facility. The project includes the complete removal of all exterior stucco, interior walls, ceilings, and flooring. The renovations include a new natural stucco exterior, formal and informal dining rooms, a full-service commercial kitchen, enhanced locker room facilities, and improvements to the golf shop and tennis center.

Trident Construction recently completed an exterior expansion to the club that included an outside dining area, renovations to the dining rooms and locker rooms, and upgrades to the kitchen. This major renovation greatly improved the variety of dining experiences available to the growing membership.

The interior upfit features a full service bank. The space includes a very attractive lobby, private offices, community board room, a vault and a full teller line with a drive-through. The upfit also includes a central mortgage processing office area. This area consists of multiple offices, a common work area and a large break room.

Selected by through an interview process, Trident Construction provided our proven TEAM BUILD services in collaboration with the design professionals to plan and construct this 9,000 SF luxury spa.
This beautiful spa includes a grand entrance with high-end interior finishes and nail salon with a full stone wall. Multiple spa rooms include private tubs, sinks and armoires. A staircase featuring large chandeliers leads to a separate VIP area located on the second floor with a private lounge and spa rooms. The common area includes private wood-finished lockers, private tiled stone showers and a lounge. The back of house includes a laundry, break rooms and private offices with fireplaces.

Trident Construction was selected through a competitive interview process to lead the collaborative effort to plan, design and construct this 17,000 SF environmental services and fleet maintenance facility. This project includes a main building to service their fleet of trash trucks and fire trucks with assembly space, locker rooms, staff offices and welding bays. The complex also includes fueling stations and an overnight covered parking area for the trash fleet.

This project is currently under construction. Working closely with the design/build team, St. Andrew’s Public Services District and SMHa, the project is within budget and on schedule.

Trident produced TEAM build services for 7410 Northside Drive, which is a multi-tenant office building that RCB Development desired to completely update. Trident Construction completed the exterior landscape by adding new outdoor tile, stairs, handrails, planting beds, irrigation, trees, site lighting, and a new parking lot surface. The new entry way was also completed by adding nichiha panels and aluminum screen features. On the inside, Trident Construction renovated the common areas with new glass handrails and new interior lighting.

After a full investigation of the building, Trident Construction provided a detailed analysis with more than 90 essential, high, medium and low building repairs that needed to be made. By providing “Smart Choice” options, our process provided the client with the greatest control over cost, building performance and material selection with the end goal to make the building healthy for the Public Safety Officials.
